Passport Issuance

  • Receipts: filing receipt and ID
  • Receiving by proxy
    • Adult
      • Filing a receipt (letter of attorney, ID (a copy available), ID of an agent)
    • Person with parental rights for minors
      • Filing receipt, ID of parents (father or mother), proof of parental authority (family relations certificate, copy of resident registration, health insurance card)
        ※ ID includes identity cards, driver’s license, passport, identification card of public officials and military ID. (expired driver’s license and invalid passport are not acceptable)
        ※ after receiving a passport, make sure your signature on the passport is identical to the one used when submitting an application form. Do not write anything other than the local and overseas contact information of the holder.

Note

  • It can take 6 to 7 more days than the notified date of passport issuance.
  • Compensation shall be proximate to the passport issuance fee according to the Postal Service Act.
    (Damages resulting from the non-issuance of passport shall not be compensated for.)
